Since the 1960s, poet Shuntaro Tanikawa has produced over 200 picture books, dealing with a wide range of themes including wordplay, perception of the world, nonsense, life, war, and death. The exhibition will feature around 20 picture books, introducing the world of Tanikawa's picture books in a variety of formats, including original illustrations, video, recitation, sound, and installation, making it enjoyable for both children and adults.
