About rental facility use

The Ehime Prefectural Museum of Art rents out the following exhibition spaces: the South Building Prefectural Gallery, the Main Building Special Exhibition Room, an auditorium with seating (for 120 people), and a training room (for 56 people).

To use the exhibition space, applications will be accepted at the rental hall meeting from 10:00 a.m. on the first day of the year prior to the date of use (or the following day if the museum is closed).

The above-mentioned rental meeting will be held as follows.

1. Date and time: Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM
2. Location: Ehime Prefectural Museum of Art, Main Building, 3rd floor, Meeting Room
3. Applicable period: Monday, March 2, 2026 - Sunday, April 5, 2026
4. Applicable facility: South Building Prefectural Gallery
 *Galleries 3-7 will not be available for rental until Sunday, March 8.
5. Special notes: The Main Building Special Exhibition Room will not be available for rental until Tuesday, March 31, 2026, as it will be used by the museum.

How to apply

When applying through the reservation system

1. Application for permission to use

Please apply through the Ehime Facility Reservation System (external link). (※Account registration is required to apply for a reservation)
After completing the application, the museum will conduct a usage review and will notify you of the review results and payment details by email.
*If advance submission of documents (exhibition schedule, work delivery schedule, income and expenditure budget, etc.) is required, you will be notified by email, so please submit them by the deadline.

2. Payment of usage fees

Please pay by the payment deadline using the payment method selected at the time of application (payment at a designated financial institution using a payment notice, online payment, etc.).

Rental use of the facility

Once payment of the fee has been confirmed, you can use the rental facility.

Rental meeting, telephone application

1. Application

Applications are accepted from 10:00 a.m. on the first day of the month (the following day if the facility is closed) one year prior to the date of use (6 months prior for the training room only) in the conference room on the 3rd floor of the main building.
After that, applications will be accepted at any time (applications can also be made by phone).

2. Application for permission to use

Application forms for permission to use will be sent to you approximately two months prior to the date of use, so please fill out the necessary information and submit them.

3. Payment of the fee

As soon as your application has been reviewed, we will send you a usage permit and payment notice. Please pay the fee to the designated financial institution by the due date.

4. Use of the rental facility

Once payment of the fee has been confirmed, you can use the rental facility.

Documents to be submitted when renting a facility

We ask those who use the South Wing Prefectural Gallery and Special Exhibition Room to provide us with information on details such as loading times and requests for publication in the "Ehime Prefectural Museum of Art Rental Guide." Please download the following data and submit it by mail, fax, or email approximately two months before the date of use.

Only those who use the Auditorium and Special Exhibition Room and charge admission fees should submit an income and expenditure budget approximately two months before. Those who do not charge admission fees do not need to submit anything in advance.

Other points to note

Usage hours: 9:40am - 6pm Closed: Same as museum opening days.

-Exhibition spaces are generally rented out on a weekly basis (mainly Tuesdays to Sundays).
-The auditorium and training rooms can be rented out for the morning, afternoon, or day.
-All loading and display work into the exhibition space must be carried out within the period of use.
-All loading and removal work from the exhibition space must be carried out within the usage hours on the last day of use.
-Please return the rented space to the state it was in before use. (Please remove all used equipment and temporary walls, etc.)
