Photographer Yoshikazu Shirakawa (1935-2022), from Shikokuchuo City, Ehime Prefecture, has been photographing the majestic natural scenery of various parts of the world for many years. Following "The Alps," "The Himalayas," "The Americas," "The World of the Bible," "Mainland China," "The Original Landscape of the Gods," "The Introduction of Buddhism," "Antarctica," "The 100 Most Famous Mountains in the World," "The 100 Most Famous Waterfalls in the World," and "Eternal Japan," the series "Creation of the World" is the culmination of all 12 series and the final series. The exhibition will feature 196 works selected by the artist himself from his work over a period of approximately 50 years, including "The Wave," a scenic spot in the United States that has been attracting attention in recent years, and the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia, as well as works from his final years.
