In-house programs

The Ehime Prefectural Museum of Art offers hands-on experiences such as viewing exhibitions and creating art for schools, facilities, and other visitors.
For details, please contact the Curatorial Division.

For school officials

The Ehime Museum of Art offers admission fees waived or reduced when school groups from the prefecture use the museum for learning activities based on their educational curriculum, and also accepts students for work experience, etc.

Application for admission fee exemption/reduction

If a prefectural elementary, junior high, or high school visits the museum as part of a learning activity based on its curriculum, the admission fee will be waived or discounted.
Please fill out an application form with the necessary information and fax it to the museum's Curatorial Division (089-932-0511) at least one week before the visit, and bring the original with you when you visit.

If you wish to participate in a program other than the free viewing program

We can accommodate school talks, creative experiences, and more, upon request. Please call the Curatorial Division one month in advance.
*School talks (interactive appreciation) are a basic appreciation program for enjoying artworks. In the exhibition room, students are divided into groups of about 10 to 15 people, each with a facilitator, and spend about 30 minutes carefully appreciating one piece of art. After that, they are free to view the artwork at their own pace. Therefore, this is recommended for schools that will be spending more than an hour at the museum. Depending on the size of the exhibition room, we can accommodate up to about 120 people.
*If there are multiple requests for the same date and time, priority will be given to the school that applied first.

Application Form

*An "escort" refers to a teacher who instructs students as part of learning activities based on the educational curriculum.
*In the case of universities and vocational schools, chaperones can enter free of charge by applying for a special exhibition.
*If you are viewing both a special exhibition and a collection exhibition, please submit an application for special exhibition stating that you will be viewing the collection exhibition.

Accepting work experience etc.

We accept students for work experience, workplace tours, internships, etc. For details, please contact the Museum of Art's Curatorial Department.
The museum internship will be held in August, and details will be provided in March.
