Cats naturally live all around us, in various places, from the streets of big cities to landscapes rich in nature. Cats have lived with humans since ancient times, and their behavior, expressions, and other aspects have fascinated us humans. This exhibition will showcase about 50 photographs, including many unpublished works, taken by animal photographer Mitsuaki Iwago during his visit to Ehime, including Aoshima (Ozu City), Matsuyama Castle in Matsuyama City, Ishite Temple, and the area around the former Horie Port, as well as 100 photographs of cats he encountered during his travels in the Setouchi region and around the country. We hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity for you to rediscover the charm of cats through Iwago's lively photographs of cats.
