New sliding door paintings by world-renowned Japanese painter Senju Hiroshi will be dedicated to the living room and hearth room of Kongobu-ji Temple in Koyasan, which have long been white sliding doors. To commemorate the completion of the project, this exhibition will introduce the paintings ahead of the dedication. The dedication paintings, consisting of the 17-meter long "Cliff Scene" and the 25-meter long "Waterfall Scene," are masterpieces that the artist himself considers to be the culmination of his career. In addition, the exhibition will feature representative works from his early period to the present. Please enjoy the worldview of Senju Hiroshi, who has continued to challenge new possibilities in Japanese painting for over 40 years as an artist.
